Gracepoint Foundation names new executive director

The Gracepoint Foundation has named Danny Cooper as its next executive director.

Cooper, previously, was senior marketing manager at Tampa International Airport for eight years.

Ian Adair, who was the previous executive director for the foundation, says he is excited for this leadership transition. “I have known Danny for several years and know he will do an amazing job, he brings to the foundation an incredible amount of knowledge, and experience, in marketing, public relations and community engagement which will help raise awareness for Gracepoint’s services, mission and impact in our community. Danny is a true mental health advocate and I know he will bring tremendous value to the Foundation.”

Cooper began his career in public relations and marketing after serving as an officer in the United States Air Force. He has served the greater Tampa Bay community through his board and volunteer involvement with the University of Tampa Board of Fellows, First Tee of Tampa Bay, Vincent Jackson Foundation and Leadership Tampa Bay.

“Our entire board of directors is incredibly excited about Danny becoming our new executive director. Ian Adair laid the foundation for our success in so many areas and Danny is well-prepared to expand on our current community outreach and fundraising efforts. His vision and strategic planning background will help take Gracepoint to new heights,” says Lee Winter, Gracepoint Foundation board president.
