In 2009, Jessica Easterla became a Licensed Interior Designer in the State of Florida. In 2017, she was awarded the Interior Design Excellence Award for the design of her company’s CDS Ybor Showroom. She is currently the president of design at Commercial Design Services. 

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR PROUDEST PROFESSIONAL MOMENT?

I immediately think about how proud I am to work for a family business that my father started 35 years ago, from nothing. He spent his career building this business and I feel my proudest when I see myself through his eyes. I had the honor of working on the full design of a hospital with him, in my early career with CDS, and always feel proud to see what we achieved together for that customer.
