The American Cancer Society has named Lindsey Langley-Liboriero as senior executive director, Southwest Florida.
Based in Tampa, she will lead a cross-functional staff responsible for raising more than $7 million annually to fund cancer research and support services for cancer patients, according to a statement.
Langely-Liboreiro joined the ACS team in Nashville, in 2019. As a volunteer, she chaired the inaugural Nashville Best Dressed Ball and was instrumental in the creation of the event.
Most recently, she served as senior executive director, Tennessee, where she led the state to a top-five performing area in the nation, raising $7.2 million in 2022, the statement said.
In addition, she is the founder of Project NENA – a nonprofit that assists under-served North and East Nashville families and children in need of necessities.
