Paradise Ventures to redevelop Largo shopping center for Sprouts and Badcock Home Furniture (RENDERINGS)

Paradise Ventures, a St. Petersburg-based commercial real estate firm, has announced plans for improvements to the Keene Plaza Shopping Center, in Largo.

The development plans include the demolition of approximately 35,500 square feet of existing retail space, at the northeast leg of the center, to make room for two new retailers.

Sprouts Farmers Market and Badcock Home Furniture & More will be constructed in its place. Other improvements to the site infrastructure include a new façade, parking lot, lighting and driveway upgrades.

“We are very pleased to revitalize this long-standing neighborhood shopping hub with a brand new Sprouts Farmers Market and be working, once again, with the team at the City of Largo,” says Michael Connor, president and chief executive officer at Paradise Ventures.

Connor adds that the entire shopping center is going to, “look brand new,” when the work is completed.

Construction of the shopping center is scheduled to commence in February 2024 and project completion is set for November 2024. Hawkins Construction, in Tarpon Springs, is the builder on the project.

Other properties owned by Paradise Ventures include Sundial, in partnership with Tampa-based Ally Capital Group, and the Clearwater Airpark, in partnership with FlyUSA. Both properties are undergoing major revitalization and improvement projects.
