Regions launches new program to help women with finances

Regions has launched Women + Wealth, a program that “combines unique events and fresh insights with one-on-one guidance from a team of professionals to further support and empower women as they move forward on their financial journeys.”

An initiative of Regions Private Wealth Management, the Women + Wealth program “debuts at a time when more women in a diverse range of households are making more investment and financial planning decisions.”

The program builds on the foundation established by the bank’s previous HerVision HerLegacy initiative – and it is expanding to provide more access to key insights for all women, no matter their age, needs or goals. Women + Wealth is led by Regions’ advisors, known as Women + Wealth Champions, who will work one-on-one with current Wealth Management clients, as well as Regions’ Commercial Banking and Consumer Banking clients, to deliver more timely advice, guidance and resources women can implement in making key financial decisions.

Launched in 2015, HerVision HerLegacy provided a firm foundation for how Regions could deliver a more intentional approach toward collaborating with women clients. It is what set the stage for Women + Wealth by illustrating how this type of customized advice meets a clear demand in the marketplace.

“Women are in the driver’s seat of their financial journeys now, more than ever. Between the great transfer of wealth happening across the country and women succeeding in their careers at a record pace, women are seeing tremendous growth in their personal wealth. Regions Private Wealth Management has always taken a customized approach to meeting clients’ goals. Women + Wealth is the latest extension of that commitment as our advisors deliver more tailored guidance and solutions,” says Christina Cruzpino, a private wealth management regional executive for Regions Bank. “This is a logical next step that is both in response to the needs of our clients – and in anticipation of how we can consistently ensure we’re meeting the needs and goals of the people we serve.”

Currently, resources are available through Wealth Insights on Regions.com where people can access a variety of content to help them build, protect and preserve their wealth. Specialized content for women is also available with articles focusing on topics such as women and philanthropy, podcast episodes covering topics such as overcoming barriers to financial confidence and more. The program also offers career insights including financial considerations for women business owners, suggestions on ways women can ask for a raise and an in-depth look at the value of a mentor. These digital insights are available to anyone, regardless of whether they are a client of Regions Private Wealth Management.

“For me, starting out in my career, having access to these types of resources would have been incredibly helpful. And I hope for women who are now early in their careers, or further along and looking toward retirement, Women + Wealth can be a game changer to their preparedness,” says Cruzpino.
