The Florida Sports Hall of Fame will hold its annual Baseball, Bourbon and Cigars event, on March 20, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at the JC Newman Cigar Co., in Ybor City.

The event will feature Florida Sports Hall of Fame members, and Tampa natives, Wade Boggs (2003), Lou Piniella (1977) and Gary Sheffield (2018) along with about a dozen additional Major League Baseball alumni and several members of the Florida Sports Hall of Fame.

The event celebrates Tampa’s baseball heritage and showcases baseball legends, cigar rollers, Latin cuisine, libations, music and a panel hosted by Dewayne Staats of the Tampa Bay Rays broadcast team.

Guests will also be treated to samplings of limited-release bourbon/whiskey from Jack Daniels, Woodford Reserve, Michter’s, Buffalo Chase and Whistlepig. Guests can also enjoy tastings from Bumbu Rum and The Deacon Scotch, Papa Pilar’s Rum and Hemingway’s Rye. Yuengling is the event’s beer sponsor. All-inclusive tickets are $125 per person or a two-person discounted ticket for $200. Tickets are limited and can be purchased here.
