Clearwater’s Yo Mama’s sauce named to 2024 SELF list of Pantry Awards

A Clearwater-made marinara sauce will “make your guests say ‘yes,’” according to a new list released by SELF magazine.

SELF’s 2024 Pantry Awards named Yo Mama’s Foods’ marinara sauce as one of the best in the business.

Testers for the awards sampled products to find the very best sauces, spreads, oils and condiments.

The SELF story said this about the brands marinara sauce: “As a brand that accommodates dietary restrictions with products that are gluten-free, dairy-free, low-sodium and more, Yo Mama’s uses flavor enhancers like salt, sparingly—but you wouldn’t even know it. Enjoy it as-is, or stir in red pepper flakes for additional heat, as one tester recommends.”

David Habib, chief executive officer of Yo Mama’s Foods, was the January 2024 cover story for Tampa Bay Business and Wealth magazine.
