Here’s what the top 1% of earners make in Florida

SmartAsset has conducted a study on the amount of money that is necessary to be in the top 1% of earners in each state nationwide.

Florida ranked 8th in the nation, for states with the highest income threshold to reach the top 1% of earners.

In Florida, the income floor of the top 1% of earners is $852,206. This is an increase from the top 1% threshold, in 2023, of $157,219.

The United States median income is around $75,000 a year, meaning half of Americans are earning less than that.
