Second annual Building a Boss Summit scheduled for March

Jo-Lynn Brown December 23, 2024

The Building a Boss Summit returns to Tampa on March 1, 2025, offering women entrepreneurs a platform to address the challenges of business ownership.

Held at the Embarc Collective, the all-day event focuses on mentorship, networking and strategies to create successful and sustainable businesses.

Founded by Hillary Gadsby, chief executive officer of the mentorship platform Boss Talks, and hosted in partnership with Fayven founder April Caldwell, the summit features keynote speakers, interactive workshops and panel discussions.

Jessica Zweig, a personal branding expert and two-time best-selling author, will deliver the fireside keynote. Additional speakers include Bridgette Bello, chief executive officer of Tampa Bay Business & Wealth, Juawana Colbert of Netflix’s Selling Tampa, and Vanessa Coppes, editor-in-chief of BELLA Magazine.

Proceeds will support resources, and funding, for female entrepreneurs. The event includes a pop-up marketplace featuring Florida-based, women-owned brands.

A VIP reception will be held at Hotel Haya, in Ybor City, on Feb. 28.
