⊲ University of Tampa Director of Athletics Larry Marfise has announced his retirement after 26 years, during which UTampa teams won 15 NCAA Division II national championships and four AVCA Small College Beach Volleyball titles.

⊲ Grey Bull Rescue, a Tampa-based nonprofit known for high-risk international rescues, has received a $7,500 donation from the ReliaQuest Bowl to support its missions locally and abroad.
