Colliers launches specialized retail investment team in Florida

Colliers has launched a new, specialized retail investment team led by long-time brokers Mike Milano and Nicholas Coccodrilli. The newly formed Milano & Coccodrilli Retail Investment Team brings together more than 45 years of combined experience and a track record totaling over $5 billion in transactions, according to a statement.

The team will serve retail investors across Tampa Bay, Central Florida and Southwest Florida.

Milano, executive vice president of retail investment services for Colliers, has spent more than 30 years with the firm and has led its Central Southwest Florida Retail Investment division. He has brokered over $3.7 billion in transactions and is regularly named a top producer by the firm.

Coccodrilli, senior investment analysis director of retail investment services, has facilitated more than $1.3 billion in deals over the past decade, working with institutional investors and boutique family offices nationwide.

The pair previously worked together on several high-profile deals including the $38.1 million sale of 115,899 square feet of ground-floor retail and office space in Tampa’s Grand Central at Kennedy.

As a team, Milano and Coccodrilli will focus on multi-tenant retail strip centers as well as retail properties with mixed-use components. They will support investors nationally, with a regional emphasis on Tampa Bay and Central Southwest Florida.
