Hubbard’s Marina named best fishing charter in the U.S. for fourth year in a row

Jo-Lynn Brown June 10, 2025

Hubbard’s Marina, a family-owned business based in Madeira Beach, has been voted the No. 1 fishing charter in the country by USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards for the fourth consecutive year.

Founded in 1928, the marina has earned national recognition for its fishing trips and boat tours. The latest honor continues a streak that began in 2022, when the business was also ranked among the top boat tours in the U.S. This year, it again topped the list for fishing charters, standing out in what the marina called a “crowded and prestigious field.”

“We are humbled that our family’s dedication to fishing, the fishing community and our guests is being recognized again,” said Captain Dylan Hubbard, president of Hubbard’s Marina and the fourth generation to run the business. “We always strive to provide a world-class experience and this award validates our hard work.”

Hubbard’s Marina also won Visit St. Pete/Clearwater’s “Bestie” award for Best Boat Experience in Pinellas County, in both 2024 and 2025.

The marina offers a variety of excursions, including 5 to 44-hour party boat fishing trips, private charters, dolphin-watching cruises, sunset tours, and ferry service to Egmont Key and Shell Key.
