Sub-Zero Group is planning a $4 million showroom in South Tampa, marking its second showroom in Florida, following its Miami location.
Permit filings with the City of Tampa show the company intends to build out approximately 7,340 square feet on the fourth floor of Bayshore Gardens, at 2909 W. Bay to Bay Blvd.
The space would house Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove, the company’s refrigeration, cooking and dishwashing brands, and would join a national showroom network that includes locations in New York, San Francisco, Atlanta, Dallas and Seattle.
Customers do not purchase appliances at the showroom. Instead, the space is designed for homeowners, architects, interior designers and builders to compare products, attend demonstrations and work with consultants before completing purchases through authorized retailers.
Drawings included with the permit application show demonstration kitchens, product galleries, consultation areas, a wine room, bar space and kitchen vignettes designed around different styles and uses. Plans also include offices for consultants and management staff.

The showroom would join a growing collection of hospitality, retail and lifestyle tenants at Bayshore Center, the six-story mixed-use property owned by Charlotte-based Asana Partners.
Since acquiring the building in 2021, Asana has invested heavily in renovations and tenant improvements while adding tenants including Barcelona Wine Bar, Counter Culture and Maru, the rooftop cocktail concept overlooking South Tampa.
Plan Hillsborough projects South Tampa’s population will increase by 21,854 residents through 2050, bringing the district’s population to more than 104,000 people.
The addition of a Sub-Zero showroom would bring another nationally recognized brand to Bayshore Center and expand the tenant roster, which includes restaurants, hospitality concepts, and retailers serving the area’s growing residential market.
