BT Wealth Management has appointed Stephen Peloquin as Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor at its Sarasota branch. Peloquin will manage financial advisory and wealth services for individual and family clients throughout the region.
He joins the firm from Fifth Third Securities in Sarasota, where he was Vice President and Investment Executive. His previous advisory experience includes roles at Merrill Lynch and Strategies for Wealth Creation & Protection.
“Stephen’s background advising individuals and families, combined with his relationship-focused approach, makes him a valuable addition to our Sarasota team,” said Stacey Pittman, Executive Vice President and Managing Director of BT Wealth Advisors.
A Florida Atlantic University alumnus with a degree in finance, Peloquin also serves on the board of the Lakewood Ranch Community Activities Corporation. BT Wealth Advisors, operating out of The Bank of Tampa, currently manages $1.3 billion in assets under care. The division utilizes LPL Financial for its brokerage and advisory infrastructure.
