Things to do: Academy Prep Center of Tampa’s An Evening of Champions

On Thursday, March 2, Academy Prep Center of Tampa will hold its annual signature fundraising event, An Evening of Champions, to benefit the school’s student scholarship fund.

The event will be held at the Academy Prep Center of Tampa campus, at 1407 E. Columbus Drive, in Ybor, at 6:00 p.m.

It will honor Susie Kuhn with the Paul L. Whiting, Sr. Service Award. The USF Corporate Mentor Program will be honored, with the Partner of Excellence Award, for its dedication to the Academy Prep students. Raymond James is the 2023 Visionary Sponsor.

Guests will have the opportunity to go “back to school” by taking part in classes with Academy Prep faculty and students. The evening will kick off with a cocktail reception, followed by a classroom experience, dinner provided by Metro Diner and a program featuring an Academy Prep graduate as the keynote speaker. Full PDF invite here.

The fundraising event is open to the public. Tickets are $300 per person or $500 per couple. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. If individuals are unable to attend the event but would still like to make a donation, they can do so online by visiting tampa.academyprep.org/donate.
