► Tweeds Suit Shop, a custom mobile suit shop, opened its first brick-and-mortar location, at 1423 First St., in downtown Sarasota. 

► Wealth Strategies Partners, a boutique total wealth management practice, named Jacqueline Kulle as wealth manager in its Sarasota office. 

► Florida Suncoast Real Estate held a golf tournament and donated the earnings of $10,000 to help men, women and children struggling with homelessness and health care issues through Turning Points, a nonprofit organization, in Bradenton. 

► After 11 years at All Faiths Food Bank, chief executive officer Sandra Frank has announced she will be retiring, at the end of 2023. 

► S-One Labels & Packaging, in Sarasota, named Sharon Beeman vice president of global sales. 

► Goodwill Manasota announced its 2023-24 board of directors with Steve Boone the board chair; new to the board this year are James McClure and Laura Ritchey.

► Mixon Fruit Farm, at 2525 27th St. E., in Bradenton, was listed for sale; the 39-acre farm includes a residence, storefront, warehouse, barn, pavilion and pastures. 

► Sarasota Opera named Cameron Maxwell as its youth opera coordinator.

► Bank of America donated $25,000 to Feeding Empty Little Tummies, which will help address food insecurity in Manatee County by providing access to nutritious meals. 

► Sydney Gruters was named executive director and vice president of advancement for the New College of Florida Foundation. 

► Sarasota Performing Arts Center Foundation, formerly Van Wezel Foundation, held its 21st annual Inspiration Gala and raised more than $1.3 million to support the foundation’s education and community engagement programs and planning for the new Sarasota Performing Arts Center.

► REI Co-op plans to open its first Sarasota location later in 2023, at University Town Center, a Benderson Development mixed-use property.
