Medical Technology Associates expands with major acquisition in the Northeast

Medical Technology Associates, a health care testing and certification company in Pinellas Park, has expanded its footprint by acquiring Major Medical Hospital Services, a medical gas service provider based in West Berlin, New Jersey.

Major Medical is recognized as the largest medical gas service and equipment provider in the Northeastern United States, catering to health care facilities including national hospital groups and regional medical centers.

Paul Rumbos, president of Major Medical, expressed pride in his team’s accomplishments and excitement for the partnership, stating, “The partnership with MTA will help Major Medical accelerate our growth plans and expand our footprint in the medical gas service and equipment industry. I’m incredibly excited about MTA’s shared values and commitment to Major Medical’s employees and customers.”

The collaboration also aligns with MTA’s strategy of expanding its offerings in medical gas, controlled environments and calibration services in the Northeast.

Val Marks, chief executive officer of MTA, praised Major Medical’s track record saying, “We are thrilled, and honored, to have Major Medical partner with the MTA team. The Major Medical management team and employees have built an exceptional business and fostered a culture of outstanding service. We are excited about a bright future working together.”
