Advantive acquires Australia-based company to expand e-commerce offerings

Advantive, a provider of specialized enterprise software, has acquired Commerce Vision, a digital commerce platform, based in Australia and New Zealand. The acquisition expands Advantive’s international reach and strengthens its business-to-business e-commerce capabilities.

Commerce Vision, headquartered in Brisbane, Australia, has provided B2B commerce services since 2001, serving industries including automotive, food service, medical and more.

The acquisition also brings Commerce Vision’s AI-driven purchase order automation tool, Lucy, into Advantive’s portfolio. The technology is designed to help businesses process inbound purchase orders more efficiently, a capability expected to attract interest in the U.S. market.

Commerce Vision Chief Executive Officer David Brice said the company looks forward to joining Advantive. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
