Inspired design and local flair

The 4,694-square-foot restaurant features a spacious dining room and bar area designed to reflect the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. The space accommodates up to 187 guests with a total capacity of 210.

Locally inspired artwork adds a playful touch, including a mural of a koala and kangaroo riding in a golf cart under the Florida sun.

“We can’t wait to welcome the Lakewood Ranch community to Outback Steakhouse,” said JB Wild, proprietor of the new location. “Our Outbackers are ready to open our doors to serve Aussie-inspired dishes and warm hospitality to our guests.”

Supporting local causes

To celebrate the opening, $5,000 from grand opening proceeds will be donated to the Bradenton Kiwanis Club, which supports youth programs, scholarships and community projects throughout Manatee County.

The restaurant will also recognize Veterans Day by offering a free three-course meal to guests with valid military identification on Nov. 11. Free giveaways will be available while supplies last.

Tampa roots and regional growth

The new restaurant builds on a long Tampa tradition. Founded in 1988, Outback Steakhouse has grown from a single local restaurant into a global brand known for its bold flavors and relaxed atmosphere.

Today, Bloomin’ Brands, Outback’s parent company, continues to operate from Tampa. The company also owns Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar.
