Cortland Santos Flats, a 296-unit apartment community in eastern Hillsborough County, sold for approximately $64.7 million, according to records.
The Houston-based apartment owner purchased the community at 8733 Rooks Park Circle from Rooks Park FL Partners LLC.
Completed in 2021, the 16.3-acre property includes one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments across seven residential buildings just south of Causeway Boulevard near U.S. 301.

The acquisition expands Camden’s presence in the Tampa market. The company owns and operates more than 170 apartment communities comprising more than 58,000 apartment homes nationwide, including 10 communities in the Tampa area, according to its website.
Rooks Park FL Partners acquired the community for $119.88 million in 2022, according to Hillsborough County property records.
