After a three-year hiatus, Vibes of the Bay returns to Ybor City

Lila Gendal September 28, 2023

The Vibes of the Bay festival, brought to you by Symphonic Distribution, is returning Saturday, September 30,, at 4 p.m., in Ybor City, at The Crowbar.

Admission is free as long as you RSVP or pay $10 at the door.

The event, which is in its seventh year, plans to feature more than twenty local artists.

Tampa Bay Business and Wealth caught up with Janette Berrios, vice president of corporate marketing for Symphonic, to get a preview of this year’s event.

“After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, we’re thrilled to bring back Vibes of the Bay. We’re excited to set the stage for a fun hang, showcasing the diversity of genres in our city and some of the best talent we have in the Tampa Bay area. It always feels like a big art family coming together under one roof,” says Berrios. “We reached out to local artists, promoters and local experts to ensure we have a nice mix of genres, styles and emerging talents that capture the essence of our city’s music scene. We wanted to make sure our return was memorable and painted a picture of the incredible talent that has flourished during our hiatus.”

The event will be raising funds for the Arts Conservatory for Teens.

Symphonic, founded in 2006 by music producer Jorge Brea, provides digital music services, distribution, playlisting and marketing services.
