LowCarbon, a global climate technology company, has moved its United States headquarters to Tampa.
The relocation adds to LowCarbon’s presence in Florida, including its Mulberry Hydrogen Plant, which began development earlier in 2024. The plant is expected to produce 10 tons of clean hydrogen daily, by 2026, supporting Florida’s hydrogen economy and serving industries such as aerospace, hydrogen vehicles and fuel cell power plants.
The company also completed a Hillsborough County pilot program that validated its ability to capture 95% of carbon emissions and repurpose them into usable materials.
“Tampa’s innovative ecosystem and commitment to sustainability make it the ideal location for LowCarbon’s U.S. headquarters,” said Lee Cheol, founder and chief executive officer of LowCarbon. “This move strengthens our ability to deliver transformative solutions to combat the climate crisis and accelerate carbon neutrality.”
Operations at the Mulberry plant are expected to begin in 2027.
In addition to its U.S. operations, LowCarbon operates in South Korea, China and Europe.
