BODYBAR Pilates opening 9th Tampa Bay Area studio in Palmetto

BODYBAR Pilates is expanding across Tampa Bay with a new Palmetto studio and a series of November community events ahead of its 2026 opening.

BODYBAR Pilates, a reformer-based fitness brand, is expanding across Tampa Bay with a new studio set to open in Palmetto in early 2026.

The company already has locations in downtown Tampa, downtown St. Pete, Belleair Bluffs, Lakewood Ranch, Odessa, Venice, Wesley Chapel and Westchase.

The Palmetto studio follows BODYBAR’s celebration of signing its 100th franchise agreement last year, marking a key milestone in its national expansion.

Ahead of the grand opening, BODYBAR is hosting community events this November to introduce its workouts and connect with future members.

The expansion highlights how boutique fitness continues to grow across Tampa Bay and how brands like BODYBAR are shaping that trend.

November kick off

BODYBAR Pilates will open its new Palmetto studio, owned by Jessica and Travis Eldredge. To connect with the community before construction wraps up, the team is hosting three events this month.

  • Pucks and Pilates — November 15 at Thunder Alley. Includes a 50-minute mat class, Lightning grip socks and a ticket to the November 18 Lightning game.
  • Pilates, Beer and a Burger — November 20 at Corporate Ladder Brewing in Palmetto. Features a 45-minute class followed by a beer and a Tower 10 burger.
  • Movement Market — November 22 at The Yard at Palmetto Marriott Resort & Spa. BODYBAR will offer a $10 mat class at 11:15 a.m. with vendors, food and music.

“These events give the Palmetto community a chance to experience the energy and strength of BODYBAR Pilates before our doors even open,” said Jessica Eldredge, owner of BODYBAR Palmetto.

National and regional growth

BODYBAR continues to expand nationally with more than 150 franchise agreements signed as of mid-2025. The brand’s growth in Florida reflects its focus on high-energy, reformer-based group workouts that attract both beginners and experienced fitness enthusiasts.

The Palmetto studio will feature the same design and format as other Tampa Bay locations, offering full-body reformer workouts in a clean and supportive environment.

Why it matters for Tampa Bay

The Palmetto expansion strengthens Tampa Bay’s reputation as a destination for fitness entrepreneurs and wellness brands. BODYBAR’s community-driven model taps into the area’s strong appetite for group fitness and lifestyle-based wellness programs.

For residents, it adds another high-quality fitness option with the added benefit of community connection. For business owners, it shows continued opportunity in boutique health and fitness concepts across West Central Florida.

Strength through community

The new BODYBAR Pilates in Palmetto brings energy, accessibility and community to Tampa Bay’s growing fitness scene.

With a 2026 opening planned and events already underway, the brand continues to prove that connection and consistency remain at the core of local wellness growth.
