Shumaker announces six new partners, four in Tampa Bay

Shumaker has elected six lawyers to partnership, including offices in Sarasota and Tampa.

The newly elected partners in Tampa Bay include:

Andrew J. Oppenheim, in Tampa, as a member of the firm’s Litigation and Disputes Service Line.

In Sarasota, the new partners include David Heedy, a partner in the Corporate, Tax and Transactions and Wealth Strategies Service Lines, Brandon M. Taaffe, a member of Shumaker’s Litigation and Disputes Service Line, and Charles A. Wood, Jr., who represents large financial institutions and high net-worth individuals in securities litigation, regulatory investigations and violations of contractual covenants.
