Pelican Golf Club and The ANNIKA Drive ‘Florida Strong’ Campaign for hurricane relief

Pelican Golf Club and The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, are uniting to launch a “Florida Strong” t-shirt and sweatshirt campaign benefiting the Florida Disaster Fund. The campaign aims to support Floridians affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, directing proceeds to the Volunteer Florida Foundation’s disaster relief efforts.

Starting today, fans can purchase “Florida Strong” t-shirts and sweatshirts online for $40 and $65, respectively. These items will also be available on-site at Pelican Golf Club, during The ANNIKA tournament, set for Nov. 11-17.

“It is important for Pelican Golf Club and The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican to support our communities affected by the hurricanes in our region,” said Justin Sheehan, director of golf and chief operating officer at Pelican Golf Club. “Our ‘Florida Strong’ shirt campaign is one way we’re helping communities recover.”

In support of the community, Pelican Golf Club and The ANNIKA are offering free admission to military personnel, veterans and first responders, along with a guest. Once inside, military personnel will have access to the Hero Outpost presented by FedData, with views over the par-3 12th hole, while first responders can relax in the First Responders Outpost presented by SERVPRO, near the par-4 16th. Children 17 and under can enter free with a paying adult.

The ANNIKA, the penultimate event of the 2024 LPGA Tour, will see 120 top female golfers compete for a share of the $3.25 million purse, one of the largest on the LPGA Tour. With eight of the top 10 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings expected to attend, the field includes stars like World No. 1 Nelly Korda and No. 2 Lilia Vu, who will defend her title.

Ticket Options for the ANNIKA

Tickets are now available at The ANNIKA’s website, with options ranging from daily grounds passes to the exclusive “Lightning Lounge” hospitality experience, at the tournament’s par-3 12th hole, which includes complimentary food and drink, TV access and parking.
