The dining program now features RARE 1981, BREW, Palmhaus and a sports tavern set to open in early 2026. Saddlebrook also refreshed more than 200,000 square feet of meeting and event space. New team-building features were added, including a sports broadcasting experience for groups.

The resort also introduced new membership options for locals who want access to golf, tennis, pickleball, fitness and dining.

Why this matters

Saddlebrook’s renovation is one of the largest hospitality investments in the Tampa Bay region in recent years.

The athletic programs at Saddlebrook have shaped players such as Pete Sampras, Martina Hingis, Alex Zverev and KJ Choi. The new facilities allow the resort to support the next generation of athletes while also serving high demand for golf, tennis and pickleball across the region.

The renovation also improves Tampa Bay’s ability to attract meetings and conferences. Updated ballrooms, outdoor terraces and event venues will draw more corporate groups and increase local economic activity.

The long-term development plan features a town center that includes residential units, retail, restaurants and office space. This expansion will support more jobs and new local business activity.

What you should know

Business leaders, event planners, investors and travelers can benefit in several ways:

  • Corporate groups can use new meeting spaces and upgraded team experiences
  • Event planners gain modern rooms for conferences, weddings and retreats
  • Athletes and sports programs have access to new training facilities
  • Residents can join through expanded memberships
  • Investors can track new housing and retail growth around the resort

What’s next

The sports tavern is scheduled to open in early 2026. Construction on Saddlebrook’s town center will continue with new homes, restaurants, retail and a pedestrian-friendly layout. The updated golf program will be introduced in phases throughout the season.
