2024 Women’s Build Hillsborough

Kick-off for the 2024 Women’s Build Hillsborough. Women Build is a female-led initiative meant to engage local women in raising the funds necessary to build a single-family Habitat home for a single-mom family! Participants who reach their fundraising goal ALSO get to help with the physical construction of the home with the guidance of our Tampa Habitat staff!
The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of the importance of affordable housing and how it can build strength, stability, and self-reliance for families through shelter. Register on our Women Build 2024 event page and join us at our April 2nd Kick-off to start your fundraising journey. Each participant is tasked with a $600 fundraising goal in which they may achieve on their own or join a team and combine their efforts to meet their goals. Participants have until June 1st to meet their goals. Upon meeting your FUNdraising goals, participants may schedule a volunteer day on the Women Build between June – September and receive their Women Build Tool Kit! Includes purple hard hat, sparkly hammer, WB T-shirt, and safety glasses!
