Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, a AAA Five-Diamond oceanfront resort in northeast Florida, engaged St. Petersburg-based Paradise Advertising and Marketing to publicize and promote its renovation project to global media outlets as the resort nears its centennial anniversary in 2028.

Irina Nashtatik was named chief financial officer at Nicholas Financial, a consumer finance firm in Clearwater that specializes in auto loans.

Apyx Medical (NASDAQ: APYX), a Clearwater-based maker of medical devices and supplies and the developer of Helium Plasma Technology, marketed and sold as Renuvion in the cosmetic surgery market and J-Plasma in the hospital surgical market, obtained regulatory approval to market and sell its Helium Plasma Technology products in Australia, Brazil, Israel, Taiwan and Thailand.

Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a commercial real estate brokerage firm, announced the sale of SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Clearwater Central, a 178-room hospitality property located in Clearwater, for $10.5 million.

MarineMax (NYSE: HZO), a recreational boat and yacht retailer based in Clearwater, acquired Northrop & Johnson, a superyacht brokerage and services company with offices across the globe.

Big Sea, a St. Petersburg marketing agency, acquired a majority stake in Pineapple Development, a website development company also in St. Petersburg.

Doormét, a delivery-focused gourmet café, signed a lease at 681 Central Ave., formerly home to Amigos Tortilla Bar.
