One Liners Sarasota and Manatee: Taverna Toscana, Sarasota Art Museum and more

► General contractor Summit Design + Build completed the build-out of Taverna Toscana, a luxury, Tuscan-inspired steakhouse and seafood restaurant, located at 1301 6th Ave W., in Bradenton. (Pictured above)

► Matthew Peterson was named the winner of Ringling College of Art and Design’s inaugural Ringling College Film Carl Foreman Award. 

► Grimes Galvano added former Manatee County Attorney Bill Clague to its team to focus on transactional, land use and administrative law.

► Sarasota Art Museum of Ringling College of Art and Design will continue its participation in Blue Star Museums, a program that provides free admission to United States military personnel and their families, this summer. 

► The Manatee County Animal Welfare is designing a new Animal Community Resource Center to be located along 17th Avenue West, in Bradenton, to be a one-stop shop for all pet resource needs, providing comprehensive support to both pets and their owners.  

► Sea Flower, a walkable residential community, is under construction in southwest Bradenton, on Cortez Road between 86th Street and IMG Academy.
