West began his insurance career in Montgomery, Alabama, with Associated Self Insurance. He has worked as a broker/advisor in the insurance industry for the last 22 years. He joined M.E. Wilson in 2010 and rose through the ranks to become partner in 2016. In March of 2022, he was named president.
