Go inside Tampa’s first five-star ‘experience’ (PHOTOS)

Tampa Edition, a five-star hotel in the Water Street area of downtown Tampa, is planning to celebrate its global launch this month.

The dual property, which has a hotel with 172 guest rooms and 38 private residences, was created by Ian Schrager, in collaboration with Marriott International.

The property was designed, concepted and programmed by ISC Design Studio, in partnership with Morris Adjmi Architects, Nichols Architects, Bonetti Kozerski Architects and Roman and Williams.

In addition to guest rooms and residences, the 26-story building has a rooftop terrace with a pool, spa and wellness facility, fitness center and seven bars and restaurants, including Lilac, its signature offering from Michelin-starred Chef John Fraser. Lilac is currently booked through October 18, according to a representative from Tampa Edition.

Edition currently operates 14 hotels worldwide including New York and Time Square New York, London, Miami Beach, West Hollywood, Dubai, Tokyo and more.
