20 Questions with Todd Hall

Todd Hall is the chief executive officer and founder of Talent Cloud Staffing, a premier accounting, finance and technology placement partner. With more than 20 years of experience in the talent acquisition field, Hall has been successful in connecting some of the nation’s best-in-class employers with their industry’s top-tier talent. His mission is to have fun, be different, and make the connections. As a long-time Tampa resident, he believes that connections flow across our social, philanthropic, and corporate circles which has allowed his relationships to often be the key to success.

Currently, Hall serves organizations such as Tampa Connection, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Metropolitan Ministries and American Cancer Society. In 2024, he looks forward to serving as chair for the CEO Council of Tampa Bay.

1. College alma mater? University of Central Florida. 

2. Last show you binge-watched? HBO’s 100-Foot Wave.

3. Favorite place for a business meeting? Any client office.

4. iPhone or Android? iPhone.

5. What time do you wake up on workdays? 6 a.m.

6. What part of your morning routine can you not miss? Wim Hof breathing and a double latte.

7. What movie terrified you as a child?  Jaws. 

8. Proudest moment? Crossing Ironman Florida finish line. 

9. Dream dinner companion? Julie Hall

10. Biggest business failure? All of them, the best place to learn and grow is from failure.

11. Best concert you’ve ever seen, live? U2 and The Rolling Stones. 

12. What is your cellphone wallpaper image? Julie, kids and the pups.

13. Most famous person you’ve ever met? Maureen McCormick from our HGTV design project.

14. What is your go-to drink order? Napa Cab.

15. How do you manage the volume of emails you receive? Late night and early morning follow up. 

16, Last thing you ordered from Amazon? Hair clay.

17. Emojis in the workplace, yay or nay? Yes. 

18. Charity you support? Semper FI & America’s Fund. 

19. Favorite childhood memory? Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom every summer. 

20. Best advice ever received? “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step – stop dreaming and start moving!”
