Sarasota designers BSWANKY and TWEEDS announce collaboration

BSWANKY, a purse brand owned by Gretchen Bauer, and TWEEDS, a bespoke menswear brand owned by Donald Carlson, have announced a collaboration for three new handbags.

The handbags incorporate vintage flattened pearled Parisienne gold leaf ostrich, metallic finished lizard from a boutique family tannery in Spain, and BSWANKY’s 24kt gold hardware and statement chain. The design uses TWEEDS’ bamboo plaids from master weavers.

The handbags in this line range from $2,600 to $8,800.
