One Liners Polk: Publix and Florida Polytechnic

Florida Polytechnic University has been ranked the no. 1 most affordable cybersecurity bachelor’s degree program, in the country, for 2024. 

The Polk County Board of County Commissioners hosted a historical marker unveiling and dedication ceremony, at Shady Oaks Gardens Cemetery, in Bartow, which functions as a final resting place for Polk County’s deceased residents who did not have the funds for burial including indigent hospital patients, inmates, unknowns and coroner’s cases involving crimes. 

Lakeland-based Publix Super Markets opened a 55,701-square-foot store, at 2500 Terra Crossing Blvd., in the Terra Crossing Shopping Center, in Louisville, Kentucky. 

RealCold, a national cold chain provider, broke ground on its cold storage warehouse facility, in Auburndale.
