Former Tervis headquarters to become sports facility

Global Sports Institute, led by professional athletes Donald Suxho, a two-time United States Olympian, and Yury Shakirov, plans to transition a building that previously was the Tervis headquarters, in Venice, to a sports facility.

Plans for the sports complex include four indoor volleyball courts equipped with Teraflex flooring, pickleball equipment, with 15 courts, and a nutrition bar.

The facility will host volleyball camps and multi-sport youth camps, club pre-tryout clinics and a volleyball club.

The 42,000-square-foot building is located at 201 Triple Diamond, North Venice.
