Muma Children’s Hospital at Tampa General Hospital has finished the first phase of its pediatric renovation project, marking a significant step in the ongoing transformation of its inpatient pediatric areas.
The newly updated spaces include redesigned patient rooms and waiting areas, improved nurses’ stations and refreshed children’s playrooms.
Renovations also include new physical and occupational therapy gyms and an open collaboration space for health care teams. The facility is equipped with the latest technology to support current and future innovations in pediatric care.
Additional phases of the renovation, including updates to pediatric dialysis and day hospital areas, are set to be completed by fall/winter 2025.
