Palm Harbor company pledges support to prevent blindness this holiday season

Regener-Eyes, a subsidiary of Regenerative Processing Plant, in Palm Harbor, will give back this holiday season by launching a campaign to help support the ongoing efforts of Prevent Blindness, the nation’s oldest non-profit eye health organization.

Through January 15, 2021, Regener-Eyes will donate $1 to Prevent Blindness for each purchase of either Regener-Eyes LITE or Regener-Eyes Professional Strength eye drops, according to a statement.

Regener-Eyes is a sterile biologic eye drop made of anti-inflammatory cytokines and growth factors. These types of proteins have been shown to reduce inflammation and help stimulate the ocular surface to heal, repair and regenerate.

“We are thrilled to support Prevent Blindness this holiday season. Our commitment is to the eye care community through servicing patients, supporting and working with eye care professionals to assist in patient care and spreading awareness on the importance of eye health,” said Dr. Randall Harrell, CEO and Founder of Regener-Eyes, in the statement.

Regener-Eyes will launch the Prevent Blindness Holiday Campaign within their group of Optometrists and Ophthalmologists that currently script and, or stock Regener-Eyes eye drops.
