Developer Prevarian Senior Living has broken ground on American House St. Petersburg, a senior housing community, on the corner of Ninth Avenue and 66th Street North.
The land, near Tyrone Square Mall, was purchased by Prevarian for $5.18 million.
The development will feature 165 units and provide independent living, assisted living and memory care services. The project is being co-developed with American House Senior Living Communities.
Amenities will include a swimming pool, bistro, theater, spa, salon, fitness and wellness center, game lounge and activities center. It’s scheduled to open in the fall of 2020.
