Modern Campus, based in Toronto, Canada, has acquired Presence, a campus engagement and learning platform company in St. Petersburg.

The acquisition of Presence extends Modern Campus’ learning partners to more than 1,400 colleges and universities in North America, according to a statement.

Presence employees will join the Modern Campus team with founder and CEO, Reuben Pressman, joining the company’s executive team.

“We’ve grown quickly because of our product innovation and focus on customer happiness; partnering with Modern Campus now affords us the opportunity to fuel both, while also deepening our campus relationships,” said Pressman, in a statement. “More than that, we’re excited to be part of a broader platform that aligns with our focus on highly personalized student experiences and enables student success in their ‘learner to earner’ lifecycle.”
