Bern’s Co. has teamed up with the art gallery CASS Contemporary to unveil specially crafted cocktails and limited edition Código 1530 Tequila bottles, featuring an exclusive label designed by CASS artist Paola Delfin.
For a limited time, the cocktails will be available upon request at Haven, while the tequila bottles will be available for purchase at Bern’s Fine Wines & Spirits.
This collection’s bottles feature crafted tequilas, including a Blanco ($95) finished in a Sauvignon Blanc barrel. This tequila contains a floral nose and an herbaceous palate with notes of white stone fruit and pear. Another option for tequila enthusiasts is the Rosa Reposado ($105), aged in Cabernet barrels and then transferred to sherry barrels. It has a fresh floral nose and a palate rich with plums, red berries and pomegranate.
Delfin is a Mexico-based artist. Her artwork for the Código 1530 Tequila labels was inspired by “Trust,” which portrays a young woman in an agave field, symbolizing purity and nature, according to a statement. Her mural “Trust” can be found at Bern’s Steak House’s sister restaurant, Haven Tampa.
