Grey Bull Rescue and Costa Sunglasses delivered hurricane relief supplies and Thanksgiving food to Metropolitan Ministries this week.
The donation drive, which ran throughout November was a collaborative effort with Grey Bull Rescue and Costa, which collected items at their retail locations. It resulted in 494 pounds of food and 60 boxes of clothing and other items being dropped off at the nonprofit’s holiday tent, at 2609 N. Rome Ave., Tampa.
The drive collected essential items including canned goods, macaroni and cheese, rice, gravy packets, turkey and ham, to support local families affected by recent storms.
