Great Places and Spaces: 18-story apartment building proposed for downtown St. Pete (RENDERINGS)

Contributed Content January 9, 2024

A new residential tower has been proposed, at the intersection of 2nd Avenue North and 18th Street, in downtown St. Petersburg.

The $72.9 million development is being proposed by WSLD St. Petersburg, an entity affiliated with LeCesse Development, based in Altamonte Springs.

The 212-foot building will include 279 residential, units across 18 stories. The five-story base of the building will include a 383-space parking garage.

The building will have a residential lobby, leasing office, bicycle storage, back-of-house facilities, parking spaces and a parking garage.

The residential units will range from 550-square-foot studios to 1,200-square-foot two-bedroom units. Tampa-based Baker Barrios is the architect for the project.

Pricing and a construction timeline for the development were not available at the time of press for this issue.
