Le Dîner en Blanc’s ‘secret’ dining experience coming to Tampa in November

Tampa Bay will host its very first Le Dîner en Blanc on Saturday, November 6, in one of the city’s best-known public spaces. The twist? Guests don’t know the location until they arrive.

Le Dîner en Blanc is a long-standing French picnic tradition. The number of guests attending will be limited.

The hosting team of Le Dîner en Blanc in Tampa Bay includes Juawana Colbert, Markesha Fuller, Cherry Gooding and Rene Preux, who collectively have been working in the event management industry for over 35 years.

To ensure that the location secret is kept secret until the last minute, guests meet at an assigned departure location and are escorted by Le Dîner en Blanc volunteers.

Launched in Paris, in 1988, by François Pasquier, and a handful of friends, Le Dîner en Blanc de Paris marked its 30th anniversary, in 2018, with a record 17,000 guests, from Paris and around the world.

Founded in 2012, and headquartered in Montreal, Canada, Dîner en Blanc International is responsible for developing this secret, posh picnic in over 80 cities in 30 countries around the world.
