Franklin Street names new chief revenue officer

Franklin Street promoted Matt Harrell to chief revenue officer.

In this newly created position, Harrell will oversee all aspects of Franklin Street’s growth strategies including business development, mergers and acquisitions, recruiting and sales training.

He will also lead the development, and execution, of the firm’s market expansion strategy, which focuses on growing teams, resources and market share nationally, according to a statement.

“During his tenure with Franklin Street, Matt has been integral to our firm’s growth and success, both as a leader and a top producer. With his experience growing our insurance services division on a national scale, he is uniquely equipped to take the methods, strategies and ideas used to grow our insurance business and apply them across each of our diverse business lines,” said Andrew Wright, Franklin Street CEO and managing partner, in the statement. “Matt’s persistence and drive to accomplish are infectious and I could think of no one better suited to take on this new role.”

In transitioning to his new role, which encompasses all Franklin Street business lines including capital markets, leasing, project management and property management, Harrell will maintain an active role with the firm’s insurance division.
