Wheelchairs 4 Kids Jail and Bail fundraiser ‘arrests’ Tampa leaders

Wheelchairs 4 Kids 13th Annual Jail and Bail event will take place July 19 and will consist of community leaders, in the Tampa Bay area, being “arrested” for a good cause.

The “prisoners” will be fed a white-collar lunch in the prison cafeteria, and, after lunch, they will be locked up in the fundraiser jail.

The “prisoners” will be called out to appear before Judge Charley Belcher to answer for their misdeeds and determine if they have raised enough bail. If they have not raised enough bail, they will be sent back to jail to call for help.

Upon meeting their bail, participants will be released with fanfare. All in good fun, the event is raising funds to help two children get new wheelchair equipment.
