Walker Brands announces new ownership

Nancy Walker, founder and president of Walker Brands, a Tampa-based real estate development branding firm, has stepped down, following the acquisition of the firm from two long-time employees.

Tara Robinson and Matt McEachern, who have worked with Walker for decades, will be equal partners in the business.

“Tara and Matt were logical choices to continue to lead Walker Brands,” said Walker. “I couldn’t be more excited for them to move into ownership of something they have made major contributions to for many years. They understand our culture, they have a passion for our clients’ success and are both well-respected in the industry. It’s never been a better time to support Florida in its continued growth and evolution.”

Robinson was previously vice president of brand service. She joined the firm in 2013 and will assume the role of owner and president.

McEachern previously was creative director. He will assume the role of owner and chief creative officer.
