Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay to honor community leaders

Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay will mark its 60th anniversary with a celebration on March 6, at the JW Marriott Water Street Tampa, recognizing individuals who helped shape the organization. Honorees include:

Alex Sink, former Florida chief financial officer, who led efforts to establish the Bill Poe Family Junior Achievement Campus, home to JA BizTown and JA Finance Park.

Bob Sharp, former AAA board chairman, who has been involved with Junior Achievement for more than 45 years.

Gus Stavros (honored posthumously), who was instrumental in developing Enterprise Village, now known as JA BizTown.

Michael D. Robertson, former senior vice president at Bright House Networks, who helped expand Junior Achievement programs.

John Tomlin, chief executive officer of Tomlin St. Cyr Real Estate Services, a supporter of JA Finance Park and a longtime Junior Achievement leader.
